WBBG Gift Certificates

Redeeming a Washington State Bed and Breakfast Guild Gift Certificate

Washington Bed & Breakfast Guild members participating in the gift certificate program are identified in the directory listings. The list of inns participating in the gift certificate program changes from time to time. It is important that you confirm an innkeeper's participation in the program at the time you make your reservation, there may be restrictions in some cases. Please inform the innkeeper that you have a gift certificate at the time of booking.

The following is an example of how the certificate might be used; Suppose you have four $25 certificates, the room charge is $80, and the total room rate including local taxes is $90. You would pay with three $25 gift certificates ($75); the remaining $15 can be paid by cash, check, or charge. The unused $25 gift certificate would still be valid and can be used on a subsequent visit to a WBBG member inn.

The gift certificate cannot be used to pay any taxes the innkeeper is required to collect, nor can innkeepers return any cash in exchange for your gift certificate. WBBG gift certificates are "bearer instruments" meaning that any person having a certificate in their possession is entitled to use it. Protect them as you would cash.
