Gardens at Twin Rose

Greetings from the Twin Rose Guest House on Bainbridge! Our 32-square-mile island offers visitors a myriad of natural and cultural splendors, and the Twin Rose is the perfect place from which to journey off.

Tucked under a grove of cedars, the Twin Rose Guest House is located on the scenic south end of the island, near sandy Pleasant Beach, historic Fort Ward State Park, and the quaint English Tudor village of Lynwood Center, featuring an art-house cinema, fine-dining, and friendly neighborhood cafes and shops.

Not a frilly, over-stuffed B&B, nor a cookie-cutter motel room, the Twin Rose offers travelers a warm, private, home-style experience where all are made to feel welcome. We embrace children, and well-behaved pets too. (Sorry, no smoking.)


Cheerful and spacious, our Main House features sleeping accommodations for two to six(+) guests and includes:

• Master Bedroom with king-size bed and cable TV
• Second Bedroom with 2 twin beds (trundle)
• Gracious Living Area with queen-size sleeper sofa, cable TV with VHS and DVD
• Euro-style Kitchen
• Study, with children’s play table
• Complete laundry facilities
• Fully-fenced Yard and private deck
• Double-car Garage

• Secure, Fenced Yard
• Parking for two cars

All rates include local telephone service, with private number, utilities, and cable. For parties of more than four, we add an additional $50.  Pet Fee is $75.
Nightly stays less than 7 nights are secured with a deposit equal to one night's stay. With 30 days notice of cancellation, we will refund your deposit, less a $50.00 booking fee.

Monthly stays are secured by a damage deposit of $500. At the conclusion of your stay, $350 is returned to you, $150 is retained as a cleaning fee. With 60 days notice of cancellation, we will refund your deposit, less a $100 booking fee. With less than 60 days notice, we will refund your deposit, less booking fee, if we are able to re-book the unit.

Driving straight off the Seattle ferry, turn left at the 2nd traffic signal, onto High School Road. At the end of High School Road, turn left onto Fletcher Bay Road. At the end of Fletcher Bay Road, turn right onto Lynwood Center Road. The Twin Rose Guest House is approximately 1/2 mile further down, on the right. Look for the mailbox marked ‘5257’ and turn into the driveway just before the tall laurel hedge. Main House guests park in, or in front of the garage. Cottage Apartment guests park in the two spaces directly to your left (by the lamp post). The Apartment entrance is through the wood gate, around to the left side of the Main House.
